About Barry

Barry Allen writes songs that are immediate and highly evocative. Barrys songs tell us much about the man and the world around him. His songwriting style has created quite a stir among audiences all over london. Performing at venues like the "Spitz", the "12 Bar Club" and the acoustic trip nights, live at the Lock Tavern in Camden. The song "Do What You Do for Love", appears on the Acoustic Trip compilation CD which was sold at Tower Records.

In May of 2008, I began recording songs for a new album at Gadget Studios with producer and multi instrumentalist Dennis Gajectic. I knew with these new songs I wanted other instruments on the record as they're mostly mid and up tempo songs. I recorded ten songs. Including, "Beautiful Woman", "Superheroes", "Table For One" and "Down There".
